Eligibility and Participation:

Eligibility: The Fire Pit Competition is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years or older. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Unique Metals Laser are not eligible to participate.

Entry: By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by all terms and conditions outlined herein. Any entries that do not comply with these rules may be disqualified at the discretion of Unique Metals Laser.

Safety and Compliance:

Fire Safety: Participants are responsible for ensuring that their fire pit setup complies with all local fire safety regulations and guidelines. Unique Metals Laser accepts no liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from the use of fire pits. It is the participant’s responsibility to follow safe practices and ensure that their setup is safe and compliant with local laws.

Permits: Participants must obtain any necessary permits or approvals required by local authorities for their fire pit setup. Unique Metals Laser will not be held liable for any legal issues arising from a participant’s failure to secure such permits.

Intellectual Property and Use of Submissions:

Confidentiality: Unique Metals Laser will keep all submitted information confidential and will not share or disclose any personal details or submissions without prior written approval from the submitter.

Approval: Unique Metals Laser will seek written approval from the submitter before using their submission for any promotional or marketing purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, social media, websites, and promotional publications.

Winner Consent: The winner of the competition consents to Unique Metals Laser sharing their name when announcing the winner. No other personal details will be disclosed without prior written consent.

Collection and Delivery:

Collection: Winners will have the option to collect their prize in person on Friday, 13 September 2024, at the Unique Metals Laser Pod located at the Land Forces Exhibition. This will be the official collection point for the prize.

Delivery: For winners who prefer delivery, Unique Metals Laser will confirm the best Australian state for delivery. Please note that regional winners may incur additional freight costs depending on their location. Any additional costs will be communicated and confirmed with Unique Metals Laser upon the success of winning the competition.

Liability and Indemnity:

Liability: Unique Metals Laser will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from participation in the competition or the use of the prize. This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or loss.

Indemnity: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unique Metals Laser, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of or related to their participation in the competition.

Miscellaneous:

Changes: Unique Metals Laser reserves the right to amend or modify the terms and conditions of the competition at its sole discretion. Any changes will be communicated to participants as necessary.

Disqualification: Unique Metals Laser reserves the right to disqualify any participant who fails to comply with these terms and conditions or who engages in any fraudulent or inappropriate behaviour.
